A crash course costs more per hour than weekly tuition, and it should. You are buying 37 papers in six weeks instead of one a week for a year, and the whole point is the compression.

Straight answers before you commit.
Is a paper every single day too much?
Two hours of class plus about ninety minutes on the paper is roughly three and a half hours a day. That is a real commitment and it does not suit every child. It suits one who needs volume and pace, in a holiday window where there is actually time for it. If your child is already stretched, this is the wrong product and I will say so on the call.
What if my child misses a day?
The lesson is recorded and posted the same night. The paper stays open so it can still be submitted and marked, and the nightly report still reaches you. Miss two in a row and I will call you rather than let it drift.
Do you show my child their rank in the class?
Yes. They see their score, the class average and their position out of 20 the moment they submit. Some children are driven by it and some are flattened by it, so tell me on the call if you would rather your child only saw the class average. I can turn the position off for them individually.
Do you teach Science as well?
No. Maths only. A tutor who teaches one subject properly beats one who teaches two adequately, and the papers, the marking and the diagnosis are all built for Maths.
Which course should my child take?
November to December revises P3, P4 and P5 papers, so it is for children entering P6. March, June and August all revise P6 papers and are for children already in P6. They are sold separately and none depends on another, though most families who do November also do August.
Can we join late, or do only some days?
Joining a few days late is fine and the fee is pro-rated. Dipping in and out is not, because the paper sequence builds deliberately from easier schools to harder ones, and a child who skips the middle hits the hard papers cold.
Why is a crash course more per hour than weekly tuition?
Because the compression is the product. Thirty-seven papers in six weeks changes what a child can do in a way that thirty-seven papers across a year does not. You are also getting every paper marked instantly, a report every night, and one tutor for 20 students rather than a rotating roster.
What happens if you are ill?
The lesson moves to the next morning or runs asynchronously from a recording. If I lose more than two days in a course I refund those days at the hourly rate you paid. This is a one-person operation and that is a real risk you are taking on.
